Neshannock Interact Club attends meeting on Lawrence County Veterans Affairs

On March 5 2018, Rotary Interact Club members Isabella Spencer and Milana Ross attended the Rotary Club #89 luncheon which was held at the Confluence. They are pictured with Seargent of Arms member Mr Nick Binder.

The lunch discussion was about Veterans Affairs programs in Lawrence County.  After the discussion, the Neshannock Interact Club would like to sponsor a fundraiser to help send a Lawrence County Veteran to Washington DC to visit the war memorials.

Anyone wishing to donate to this fundraiser can contact Interact advisor Mrs DeVincentis at bdevincentis@ntsd.org

“Socktoberfest” Success for Neshannock Interact Club

Neshannock Rotary Interact Club, with the generous support of students grades 7-12, collected more than 800 pairs of socks during “Soctoberfest”.

Socks were counted by the Transition class students and were donated to the New Castle City Rescue Mission and Director Kevin Green who will distribute to homeless men, women, and children in Lawrence County.

Rotary Interact is sponsored by New Castle Rotary Club # 89. Interact co presidents are seniors Miranda Thomas and Nicole Barnes.

Blanket Drive benefits United Way

The 2017 blanket drive organized by the Neshannock Rotary Interact Club (sponsored by the New Castle Rotary Club # 89) was very successful. More than 110 blankets were collected during the month of November.

This blanket drive supported the Lawrence County United Way program who distributes the new blankets to Lawrence County Agencies to aid the homeless in our county.

The 24 Interact Club members thank the community members for their generous support.
