J. Robert Brown Scholarship
This is a New Castle Rotary #89 sponsored scholarship created to honor the memory of J. Robert Brown (AKA Doc Brown) a well-known Lawrence County veterinarian, greatly loved community citizen, and life-long member of Rotary #89.  Click for information and form.
District 7280 Scholarship
Rotary District 7280 will be awarding two $5,000 academic scholarships to college students who have completed their sophomore, junior, or senior year.  The scholarships may be used either for tuition, a junior year study abroad program, or post graduate studies. To receive a District 7280 scholarship, the student must be in good academic standing, reside in District 7280, and receive the endorsement of their local Rotary club. Click for form.
Rotary Foundation Global Scholarship
Global grants may be used to provide funding for academic studies provided that they:
  • Fund graduate-level study that relates to one or more of the areas of focus
  • Fund studies for a term of one to four academic years
  • Sponsor the academic studies of an individual traveling from the international sponsor district to the host sponsor district.

2014 Rotary Peace Fellowship
The challenges of the 21st century require people skilled in the art of diplomacy, mediation and conflict resolution. The Rotary World Peace Fellowship program was developed to meet the need for well-educated international leaders..

Rotary is seeking non-Rotarian professionals interested in expanding their knowledge of peace building, conflict resolution, and mediation. Each year, Rotary selects up to 110 fellows to study for a masterís degree or a short-term certificate.
