The mission of Cray Youth and Family Services Inc.  is to “make life better for kids”. Since 1984, Cray has been providing services to at risk youth and families that range from preventative to intensive in nature. Cray’s mentoring program (formerly Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lawrence County) has matched nearly 700 children with a mentor since 1996. It is the only child serving program at Cray that does not receive state or federal funding, and receives operating support from The United Way, private foundations, and individuals and businesses in our community.
